Transcript for "The Solution to the Grandfather Paradox", as written by me on the back of my ninth-grade math test
As any physicist knows, the grandfather paradox is, essentially, a question. If you went back in time and killed your grandfather, how are you still in existence? Would you not be inconceived? If so, if you did not exist, how would you have killed your grandfather, if as a result of you killing him, you never existed? The soltuion to this is quite simple, though there is no exact name for it that I know of. To put it in the words of Steins;Gate, we must not think fo time as a simple arrow moving forward, but rather multiple arrows moving forward. The speed and, essentially, distance (amount of time) covered will inevitably vary between these "arrows". Of course, time is a human invention, and it is a simple, yet complex term describing ou…
RE: Steins;Gate and the End of 2018
Greetings, greetings. Here we are again. I remember last year during this time, when I was in Italy. I believe the city was Milano, or Milan (as they call it in English), and I had watched this one disturbing video about this comic about some Christmas gift demon. It was stupid, nevermind that. I also distinctly remember having a slight existential breakdown after watching Mekakucity Actors and hearing Azami's story and Shinigami Record. Little did I know that that was just one of many more to come. Maybe it was a good thing, maybe it was a bad thing. More happened over the summer, but I guess that's a story for another day.
Regarding my schooling situation... well, I've been able to mainly forget about it over the past week. I went on a th…
Prelude to H-E-Double Hockey Sticks
It's that time of year again; the new school year begins once again. Now, I'm probably giving away my age here, but seeing as barely anyone even visits this wiki anymore, nevermind bother to read my blogs, I think I'm in the clear. Grade 11 is a year which I had literally been warned for years on end prior to even beginning high school. Comments like: "It's one of the most important school years in high school, if not the most important" and "This year will determine which University you get accepted into, which will determine what your future will be like" are common things to hear from parents, high schoolers, and University students. Needless to say, I am nervous, but I have been nervous for several years now. The anxiety eventually sat…
RE: Thrawn, Art, and The Bigger Picture
Even after hearing Thrawn's theme all these times, I still get chills every time. The organ intro, the low vocal accompaniment, crescendos, decrescendos, and the like. As of today, May 3, 2018, I have finished Thrawn, by Timothy Zahn. Usually, I do not flaunt my success at having finished a novel, and I am not doing so now. Thrawn is an interesting character, one of mystery and deserving praise unlike any other. I do not have much to say about Thrawn that I have not already thought of before in my mind or have said to my acquaintances at school. That is, of course, a lie.
When I first heard about Thrawn, it was through a Youtube video explaining who Thrawn was and his importance to Season 3 of Rebels, his debut on screen. After finishing the…
RE: Feelings and Such
To be honest, I find my posting this to be slightly untimely, but then again, there is a reason why I don't often use that word. Feelings are strange, aren't they? Feelings and thoughts make a person whole. They allow a person to truly feel alive and believe in the illusion that is reality and life. It's lovely, yes. The feelings that are most precious, however, are those that cannot be described by words, as they are the ones that cannot be recorded or communicated, unless both parties have felt the feeling before, in which case, a connection between the two ought to occur. The feelings that arbitrarily occur when you look back on a certain instance in the past, or picture a setting that is distant from the cold harsh reality that people …
Greetings
As anybody who is a student might know, I am writing this during the March Break, which is a week-long break that occurs during the month of March to help students relax and, more importantly, help teachers pull themselves together. Black Bullet has been my favourite anime series since I began pondering about what my favourite ones were. I started watching anime back in eighth grade, and I still remember how Black Bullet was one of the first ones I saw (probably the fourth or fifth), and it was mainly because I was...intrigued by the high-kick scene from the anime that someone posted on Youtube. I personally still like Black Bullet, and I doubt anything will ever replace the feelings I've had and still have for it. The reason I'm writing t…

Why? The chances of Black Bullet getting dub is very low.
Copy pasted from this forum post.
1) Trends are not very favorable towards Black Bullet (or any anime that features a loli in the series) and the American anime fanbase are more hostile towards lolis in general ever since Black Bullet.
Not many people are talking about Black Bullet even after the initial airing. Not to mention, it's a grimdark lolicon action series pandering to the lolicon fanbase. Not only that, North American Anime fandom trends is more hostile towards lolis and Black Bullet makes the anime the fandom hate lolis even more. Apparently, I understand why lolis are very hated within the American fanbase. Not only some shows have young girls being sexualized, but most lolis are often "mary sue/perfect little sister" character. …
Chance for a Season 2?
The first season of Black Bullet ended a while ago, but do you think they will make a season 2?
The first season was very rushed and a lot of the plot got messed up. The CGI was pretty bad and the character development was....meh. I don't know if they will make a season 2. I looked at the studio that did the animation for the anime and they don't make season 2s, so it seems unlikely that we will get one. If they do make one, I hope they learn from their mistakes.
Black Bullet Dub cast ideas p1 (plus voice clips)
So Black Bullet happens to be one of the most watched and popular anime in the spring 2014 anime season. Sentai Filmworks has also picked up this for home video rights in North America as well. Thus being said, I have high hopes (but at the same time, very doubtful and cautious) that this series will get a high quality English dub with Toonami airing in the near future..
Now, for those who aren't familiar with Sentai Filmworks , here are a few things you need to know:
- Sentai Filmworks does dub their anime. However, they only dub a few select titles while they leave some titles released sub-only. Some of their dubbing decisions are usually based on objective data such as sub-only DVD/BD sales (they do rerelease some of their older sub-only…
Opinion on Spoiler Policy
I wanted to know everyone's opinion on the spoiler policy (Aside from those I've already asked). In my opinion, the spoiler policy is hurting this wiki, as it prevents the addition of legitimate information just because people can't read Japanese. And, if going by the spoiler policy, no information could ever be added past episode 4, as the anime will end around the end of that volume, and the translation probably won't be finished anytime soon.

Episode 1: Last Hope, Review.
The 1st Episode of the Black Bullet Anime, Last Hope.
A young boy walks about when thunder is suddenly heard, the people below gaze towards the sky and see a massive Gastrea flying their way. After a jet manages to hit it, it falls and takes some people with it. Rentaro survives, but within his head a voice tells him that if he does not wish to die, then to live. This was the prologue in the LN (this was not adapted into the manga, at least not in one chapter).
The opening starts up, black bullet by fripSide, and we see some scenes from the PVs and what is to come from Episode 1. After the opening ends, a boy riding a bike enters a building where Gastrea activity is present. He then talks to Tadashima about his Civil Security Company and aff…

Chapter 10: The Land Where Humanity Was Exiled, Review.
It begins with Rentaro and Enju arriving to the location designated to them by the Government, or the mastermind behind this operation herself: Seitenshi. Whilst they explore the area a bit, they hear an explosion that awakens the forest. Afterwards, they are attacked by a strong-looking Gastrea, but outrun it thanks to Enju. As they... fly Rentaro sees "Heaven's Bridge". Telling Enju about it along the way. After landing, they converse when suddenly Kayo appears...pointing a gun at Enju, and all wounded!
I thought this chapter was pretty good. I was shocked by the amount of pages though. Some may be wondering how the heck Enju was able to jump so high, but let's not forget that she is model Rabbit, and let alone the Gastrea blood. Thus the l…
Chapters 1-9, Review.
First and foremost, I first stumbled upon the series "Black Bullet" on the same day I created this wiki. Basically, I fell in love with it the moment I read all 10 chapters! So far, I have enjoyed each and every single chapter. They have interesting points and catch the readers' eye the moment you flip the page. Without any further ado, here are my 9 reviews for the 9 translated chapters out there for the fans.
'
Nothing much to say here, just a chapter that begins the events that are soon to take place. ;D However, the transition was great nonetheless.
I will review chapter 10 separately! Let me know your views on these 9 chapters on the comments below!
